| "Train Time" (2002)
by Tom Nussbaum is a massive computer cut 1/2" thick polished stainless
steel sculpture at the new Montclair, New Jersey light rail station.
The single plate, measuring 12 feet wide by 12 1/2 feet high, and weighing
approximately 3,600 pounds, with 1,500 cutouts was programmed, cut,
fabricated and installed by Architectural Iron Company. |

September of 2002. Architectural Iron Company's state of the art cutters
cut all metals, including cast iron, from
paper thin through 2" thick at speeds up to 660 inches per minute. |
