One of Architectural Iron Company's fifty nine projects in New York City's Central Park was the restoration of the cast iron stoop railings at the Arsenal, which is now the headquarters of the New York City Parks Department.
This is one of the most unusual railings we've ever encountered.
The newel posts simulate cannons, the balustrades simulate flintlock rifles and arrows and the entry lamps simulate the drummer boy's drums.
