Several years ago, Architectural Iron Company was asked to construct a totally unique cast iron, steel, aluminum, bronze and glass conservatory for one of New York City's premier addresses. Due to changes in the personal circumstances of the owner, the conservatory was never completed and Architectural Iron Company is now offering it for sale.
The entire structure is designed to be lifted by crane to its final location. Each of the six arched openings shown has a custom made, outward opening casement window by Hope's Windows (not shown), one of the finest names in custom windows.
The roof panels of flat and curvilinear glass are all custom fabricated 1" thermal insulating glass to match each opening precisely.
The interior details shown exemplify the attention to detail on this project.
Shown here, at left, is the area where the conservatory abuts your home.
This photo shows one possible grillage detail for one area above the custom Hope's windows.
This photograph shows the base of one of the eight custom columns supporting the conservatory, as well as the point of attachment to your home, which is the right hand edge of this photograph. The conservatory was designed to sit on an eighteen inch high marble curb.

The conservatory has an interior measurement of 95 1/4" long by 89 3/4" wide and an interior height of 102".

The conservatory is available for $20,000.00 US, FOB, Milford, PA. This price includes the structure as shown including the custom Hope's windows with insulating glass, as well as all other custom insulating glass for the walls, roof and oculus.

There are a number of other finishing details to be addressed, and these will affect final pricing.
